  • 5. Select your region before going on to the next step.

  • 6. Your TP-Link extender will now search for available wireless networks. This process can take a few minutes in some cases.

  • 7. Look for your wireless network in the list and then select it.

  • 8. When prompted, enter the wireless password.

  • 9. Select "copy from the main router" if you want to create a single, larger wireless network. Select "customize" if you'd like to create a different network.

  • 10. Select the next option. A final window will appear on your screen. If all of the information is correct, review the network settings and click Finish.

The TP-Link extender will reboot and you will be able to access the internet after this process is completed. You can also test it with an ethernet cable before switching to wireless mode.
