Step 1: The first step is to unplug the existing modem or router. You also need to remove or replace the backup battery if you find any.

Note: In case, the power LED light on the backside of the Netgear Orbi router does not blink then press the on or off button on the router. 

Step 6: Now, you will see that the power LED light on the router will turn to solid white color. You need to wait for some time until the LED light becomes stable. 

Step 7: In the next step, you need to find a central location in your home or office where you can keep the Orbi satellite in order to get the good WiFi network coverage and WiFi signals. 

Note: Here, one thing that you need to make sure is to use the same network for your router and Orbi extender as both of the devices are working together. 

Step 8: Now, connect the Netgear Orbi extender to the main power. Press the on or off button on your device to see whether the power LED light located on the backside of the Orbi extender starts blinking or not.

Step 9: Now, the users need to look for the LED color Orbi satellite as it is white solid light in starting and after some time changes to pulse magenta. You will see that the pulse magenta on the LED of the Orbi satellite blinks until the Orbi satellite syncs with the router. 

Step 10: Finally, you will see one of the three colors will blink for 12 seconds once the magenta light glowing on the ring of the LED of the Orbi satellite. Turn it off. The three colors are Solid Amber, Solid Blue, and Solid Magenta.
