Step 1: The first step is to plug the Netgear ac1900 WiFi range extender into the power socket nearer to the main router and turn it on. 

Step 2: When your Netgear range extender is turned on, you will see that an amber light on the power LED will turn green. It means that your device is ready for the setup process. 

Step 3: After that, connect your computer, laptop, or any networking device to the default WiFi network name of the Netgear extender, i.e. NETGEAR_EXT.

Step 4: Now, you will easily find the wireless network name in the WiFi network manager under the device settings. Here, you will also get the list of all the wireless connections available nearby you.
