Step 6: Tap on the new extender setup webpage. Create an account by entering your name, password, and security questions. 

Step 7: Once you click on the Next button, your device starts searching for the available wireless networks nearby you.

Step 8: Choose your WiFi network name from the available wireless network list. Enter the internet password if required.

Step 9: In case, your wireless home router supports the dual-band i.e. 5GHz then repeat all the above steps.

Step 10: Once you click on the Next button, it will start applying the settings that will take around 60 seconds depending on your Network speed and the distance between the Netgear extender and router. 

Step 11: Now, you will see the Netgear extender name on the screen after completing the setup process which is the home wireless network name.
