Method 4: Check the hardware issues 

Physical hardware issues can occur on any device. WiFi extender is one of the devices among them like the Ethernet port is broken. You need to look at the extender front and you will see many LEDs. Ensure that all the LEDs are turned on and the right color is indicated on the device manual. Also, the color should be white, green, or yellow. 

In case, no LED light is on then there may be a possibility that your device is broken and there is an issue with the charger or the power outlet. To fix the issue, check the power outlet with some other device and see whether it is working properly or not.
